Workshops & Training
In order to achieve visible first effects in the short term, and to create awareness on the theme of diversity & inclusion, we provide short workshops and training courses. Always based on proven insights, practically applicable and fun to follow, through a combination of theory, film fragments and interactive exercises.
You have a good education, ditto job and everyone is full of praise for you. But still you always hear that little voice in your head: when does everyone discover that I really can’t do anything?
People who suffer from Imposter Syndrome set the bar mercilessly high for themselves and underestimate their own performance. No matter how well they do their job, no matter how many degrees or compliments they receive, they are constantly afraid of being exposed because they persistently doubt their own qualities.
Take the Imposter Syndrome test in the run-up to the workshop and get tips on how to deal with it.
The road to a more diverse organization where employees feel valued and respected, starts with awareness. Everyone judges everyone else.
We let participants feel and experience the effect of unconscious prejudices. Participants will work from practical examples which will give them tools to start using this within their own team and organization. We use Daniel Kahneman’s ‘Thinking fast & slow’ model and other psychological phenomena like bias, errors of judgement etc.
Participants will be nudged, challenged on their own behavior and provided with tools to address biases in the workplace.
Today’s world is changing. As a leader you need to thrive in an increasingly diverse environment. To be able to leverage the diversity in your firm, clients and teams, you need to develop an additional skill set.
This masterclass helps you to understand how diversity can be leveraged effectively.
Participants feel and experience the effect of unconscious biases. We use the model of Daniel Kahneman ‘Thinking fast & slow’ and real live experiences from the professional services industry.
We feel most comfortable with people who are like us. And so, the pitfall with that. is that we tend to select a copy of ourselves. We call this an assessment error. How do you prevent assessment errors and do you select with courage that male/female candidate who is ‘just a little different’, but is the perfect fit to complete the team?
Training for managers, recruiters and selection committee members.
Participants are given the opportunity to work with practical examples and are given tips to use later within their own organisation. The workshop is held by two of our experienced advisors.
Intervision is an organised conversation between people working in the same field.
In a group context (around 5 – 8 people), a specific problem or specific question that someone is experiencing, is examined. An example of a personal question that can be dealt with: “I often have the problem that I am not heard during a meeting. What could be the reason?” The group then examines this question.
Intervision creates an atmosphere of collegiality because every participant comes to “give and take”. It ensures that you look at your own issues from other people’s perspective and so, create new and different insights.
Women are much better at negotiating than men! At least… if they negotiate from their professional role or if they negotiate for someone else, but when it comes to their own interests, it is a very different story.
What would you do with € 285,000? Because, on average, the salary of women for the same work is about 8 % lower than the salary of their male colleagues.
In this workshop we will elaborate on the theory and the obstructing beliefs that are present in everyone. Of course you will receive tools and we will practice so that you can do the following negotiations on salary, bonus, promotion, adjustment of working hours / times etc. with pleasure and success!
