How does our brain work?
Many of our choices are less objective than we think. Now also online.
What is unconscious bias?
Unconscious biases are automatic assumptions our brain makes about people, often outside our awareness. A well-known example is favouring people who resemble ourselves. They influence decisions in recruitment, appraisal and collaboration.
Many of our choices are less objective than we think. Our brain helps us make thousands of decisions every day. At the same time it produces unconscious preferences, assumptions and judgement errors.
During this interactive workshop participants experience how quickly the brain categorises, and what effect that has on collaboration, leadership, recruitment and talent development.
Drawing on insights from Daniel Kahneman, behavioural psychology and current science, participants make their own thinking patterns visible.
Afterwards they recognise bias more quickly and know how to make better, fairer decisions.
